Details of maps when creating courses in Garmin Connect web

Attached two maps. 1st Garmin Connect Web -> Openstreetview (has more details than HERE and Google Maps)

2nd Map directly from maps.openstreetmap.org

Is there a way to display more detailed maps in Garmin Connect Web?

It's not only that lots of smaller trails are missing it's also not showing place where you find water and shelters.

Since I have a Fenix 6X Pro I also own the Garmin map for Europe on the watch. The map has way more details than the one in Coonnect Web.

I'm hiking a lot and for basic route planning I prefer to use Garmin Connect Web over Basecamp

The OSM map Garmin uses belongs to an old map. I had written them to update their maps, but they replied saying I can edit the OpenStreetMap around me. I've been editing for years, but they're not updating their maps...

Write them, so that maybe they update their maps...

I think, I had writter to somewhere like ideas page. https://www.garmin.com/en-US/forms/ideas/

OpenStreetMap is an volunteer and user editable map. You open an account on the site and later you can edit the map. You can add missing ways, POIs etc. or remove the old shops etc.

Ok, than I got this wrong. I thought you can edit the map somehow in Garmin Connect Web.

You edit on OSM first. Later, Garmin needs to download OSM data and process it to make its Garmin Connect Web OSM map...
