Garmin Coach 5k workouts seems to be "stalling"

I've been doing C25k since mid-June. Not sure if it matters but it is with Coach Amy. I chose her over the other two available to me because the plan allowed four workouts per week.

Anyhoo...after completing a few weeks of walk/run intervals, I began the straight runs, alternating between 1.00 and 1.50 miles. The long run for the week was increasing nicely for a few weeks...2.00, then 2.25, and 2.50 mile. And they've all gone pretty good with good pace for me (between 10-11 min/mile) so I thought "Great! I'll be at 5k in no time!" And the confidence meter on Connect, which was pegged well into the blue indicating confidence is high, seemed to agree.

But then the long run dropped to 2.00 miles. I was a bit confused at this but I figured what the heck do I know, stick with the plan, surely the app knows best. But this week the long run is just 1.50. It surely seems like this the plan is regressing and needlessly so. Unfortunately, the doesn't allow me to view workouts any more than a few ahead so I have no idea what's in store. I've done other C25k plans in the past and don't recall all this up and down with the distances.

I'm a goal-oriented person and would like to stick with the plan if all this is on the up and up, but if something is amiss I would prefer to just strike out on my own and just get it done already. I have already rescheduled these next four runs for the next couple days. I don't need the rest days.

Does anyone have any idea if this is the way the plan should go or what I should expect over the next few weeks? The plan is scheduled to be completed by the end of the month and here I am running stinkin' 1.00 miles? I don't get it. Did this plan get botched by the outage?

Thanks for any insight.
