Hello Garmin Community. I recently bought a garmin forrunner 235 and I am very confused on the calorie counting. I usto use an apple watch which per day i would burn 300- 400 calories and 100 active caloriest on my sedentary days. However, Now that im using calorie counting with the garmin im getting resting calories of 1,100 by 12 pm and 37 active calories and I only been on my computer since 8 am. So i dont understand how these numbers correlate. In my apple watch resting calories never actually appeared that I know of so i dont know how the numbers will correlate. I usto relie alot on my calorie counting to know if i am relatively close to calorie deficit diet. However, at the moment I dont know how this will help me achieve those goals. Can anyone please help.
