yes, so previously i went biking, and when i finish the biking track, the watch seem to show error movement so i couldnt tab save activity.

so i google some steps, i tried to connect my watch to laptop, and go to GARMIN-activity and i found this file, i save it to my local folder, then i tried to import the data, but it said "we don't support the file type you tried to import".

is there any chance i can get the data back?

    hi,

recording to your fit file ended abruptly, without proper closure and summary

no other data in your fit file than this

ran your file through Fit File Tools's section remover (without any removing) for you

    check this file 6837.fitfiletools.zip

    hi,

    thank you for the feedback

    should i import the data
    • it is your data, so you are free to do with it what you like Slight smile
or should i do something for this issue?

call Garmin Support and tell them about your mishap

    • doing this will help other users with similar problems

    hi,

when you can put your watch in mass storage mode then yes perhaps

    • MTP devices can not be scanned so far as I know of without usb mass storage mode

you could use a file recovery program when your device is compatible for such a recovery

    what you had to do

    • turn the watch off
    • only turn it back on to perform the file recovery scan

just maybe and with a lot of luck

stop all activity on your watch by turning it off until you start a file recovery scan

with the use of a file recovery program and some luck one could find the rest of the fit file

    for PC

    for Mac

yes, i already turn off and turn it back on, but no luck Disappointed

first i only have the summary on watch, then, when i tried to import the data (as i explained earlier) it didnt work out, i thought because i have the summary and it the file i tried to upload is failed. so then i delete the summary on watch (pushing my luck again), and i make it even worst, so i lost both data.

    hi,

    • ? this is not about magic Smile

so, you did not find a tool to do the recovery scan

or has your device no mass storage option

so then i delete the summary on watch (pushing my luck again), and i make it even worst, so i lost both data.
    • summary is not a file file but just as it is named, a summary of values
