Removed Badges

Hi Garmin,

I recently had 82 points for the badges I have earned but after earning another point, I noticed that my points had reduced to 81. Is there anyway of checking & investigating what happened and/or you historical points awarded or removed? Thanks

    Are you sure you are looking at the points you have, and not the points remaining to next level? The first one increases with every badge, while the latter decreases.

    There’s no way that I know of to check, but I noticed recently that one of my Golden Week badges seem to had been removed. If you had them, check there first. Then maybe check any other ‘wrong’ country badges you had.

    Further to this, today Garmin removed my German rocket beans challenge badge. I haven’t touched this activity since the beginning of May. It seems like Garmin are somehow refreshing activities and removing Badges that don’t match the current region set.

    That sounds odd. How do Garmin know that the user wasn't in that region when that badge was available?

    All my badges are still there and I got many for different regions.

    What you can do is to change your region to Germany and edit and save that half marathon for Rocket Beans badge and see if it comes back.

    True. I’m just guessing at this stage of the reason they disappeared, you’re likely the prime guinea pig to see if it happens to you. 

    Yup, Set to Japan to get my Koinobori badge earlier this week, then back to Germany and an edit today to get Rocket Beans back.
