Garmin workouts not updating Activity rings on iPhone

I’m not getting my activity rings to update on my iPhones Activity app after completing a Garmin workout.

The Garmin connect app has been set up to write all the health metrics to Apple’s Health app so therefore the Activity App should be receiving all this data.

Does anyone else have this issue ?

Yes- why isn’t Garmin addressing this ? Wahoo works - my friend has that so this has to be a data file from Garmin to iOS
