Possible corrupt fit file - got it recovered, but Garmin won't accept it

Hi,

My wife deleted her longest Gravel ride yesterday. Don't now how, but in some way the ride was deleted.

I found the deleted file, but I can't get Garmin Connect (or Express) to accept it.

Can you help in any way,

I got the fit file in 3 versions.

with a lot of luck there is activity data in the part you found

hi Torben,

you did a good job with the recovery scan and hit jackpot

the whole lot was in '2020-06-27-10-04-07 2.fit' together with some non ride data and missing summary data

cleaned up this fit file and ran it through Fit File Tools's section remover

happy & safe sporting
