Major Miles Challenge Badge not recording correct mileage.

I have run over 106 miles this month, but the Major Miles challenge is only showing 70 miles.  I have tried leaving the challenge and re-joining it, but nothing changed.  Is there any way to fix this?

  • Try editing and saving the activities you know (or suspect) that were not counted. That usually fixes the problem. Often just editing the title, the note, or the percieved effort, or adding a Calorie is sufficient. Also make sure you did not manually change the distance, and that all runs were recorded with a Garmin device (no manual entries, and also imported Activities are often rejected).

Thanks for your response. My Garmin had actually stopped working the last week of May and I had to send it in for a replacement. For the first week of June I was tracking my runs on Strava and then uploading them to Garmin Connect.  I guess there is nothing I can do about it,  but it is good to know that was the issue. I hope they will repeat the challenge.  I usually run 100-125 miles per month.

  • Strava and then uploading them to Garmin Connect.

Yes, that won't work. For such cases it is not bad having a cheap backup Garmin device - you can find older models of Garmin just for a few bucks on eBay, or in second hand shops.

I hope they will repeat the challenge.

There is another Major Miles Challenge badge coming in July
