Help for corrupt swim file

Hi guys

i went for a swim session and was unable to load it in garminconnect. I used the http://garmin.kiesewetter.nl/ website to fix the FIT file but it returns a file marked activity as "other" and not swim. Does anyone has an idea how to fix this?

hi,

suggest you run your file through Fit File Tool's section remover (without any removing)

import this fit file manual from within Garmin Connect Web

when this fails

with your consent we can have a look at your file with FitFileRepairTool

zip the fit file and upload here in the forum, or provide a link to it on a cloud storage

hi,

downloaded or synced hr data was not complete, this way corrupting the fit file

wait longer between stopping and saving, giving the watch time to sync hr data

thank you so much for your help. It is a simple swim - and we love to keep everything tracked. Very much appreciated!

I swim with an HRM strap and sometimes the connection between the watch and the HRM strap isn't optimal. I'll try to wait a little longer before saving and see if that is better. It rarely happens that the file is corrupted.
