Garmin Account deactivated

Hi, my garmin account has been deactivated and I cannot reach it anymore. I created my account whilst living in the P.R. China. I got an indication from the Garmin customer support that this might be a reason. However, they didn't answer me anymore on how to reactivate it to allow me to access all the data.

Did anybody of you have the same problem and (hopefully) a solution to it?

Thanks

Best

Martin

  • Chinese accounts are not on the same servers as the standard Garmin accounts, so you will not find your account when not in China. If you are trying to log into your Chinese account, you'll need a VPN or a proxy server, so that you can log into the Chinese server connect.garmin.com.cn instead of connect.garmin.com (without the .cn on the end). If you are outside China, you'll be automatically redirected back to the non-chinese servers.

Thanks A lot for the clarification - I already feared that this is the case.
