Garmin Coach synch issues

I am using Coach Greg’s training plan on Garmin Coach. So far I haven’t had any issues until this week. None of my workouts this week have shown up on my watch (I have a fénix 6). Basically, when I look for the workout I need to do, my watch says Rest Day but my app says a workout I need to complete, so when I go to start a run it records as a regular run and not as the prescribed workout. I’ve tried syncing to the app multiple times, reconnecting it to the WiFi, and doing a soft reboot on my watch but I’m still having the same problem. My training plan doesn’t show that any of my runs this week are complete. I saw on a different comment thread that if you try categorizing the activities as Training they would register on the Garmin Coach plan, this didn’t work for me either. I don’t want to start my training plan over just for the workouts to show up on my watch but right now I’m not sure what else I can do. I’m worried my training plan will be adjusted incorrectly because it doesn’t register the workouts I’ve completed. If anyone has ideas I would greatly appreciate your help. 

  • Just to be clear, how did you activate the run? Did you go to the Garmin Coach widget to start the run? If you did not, I don't think it will be seen by Garmin Coach.

    The Coach widget appeared blank on my watch so there was no workout available to start. I just did a regular run for that day so it didn’t appear on the Coach plan as a completed workout, but the good news is that it did not throw off the rest of my training plan.
