After losing the steps and sleep tracking, and updating my Forerunner 35 on the computer, my V02 max number has been dropping daily. It makes no sense.

Nothing had changed in my body that could explain the daily drop in my VO2 max. I have been running as usual.
These numbers make no sense, and it started si se updating my software on line and doing an update to IOS 13.5.1 .

Help.
i strongly believe my fitness level has not worsen. If anything it is better than ever

  • The VO2 max value is calculated on the device so the software on your phone doesn't matter. The calculation of VO2 max will be different from device to device so start with looking the manual for your device how it do the calculation.

Have you changed the setting of your max heart rate?

    • The software update was done to the device NOT to the phone.

I have not changed my heart rate.

i received some help from  Garmin Support staff, and we reset the heart rate sensor, plus deleted four folders on line in my account that may have ended up with corrupt data. I will be monitoring the watch feedback this week and see what if anything, is different and “makes sense”.
    Thanks for your suggestions.
