Is there a way to not show retired shoes when editing the gear for workout? I've retired my gear, why would I want to add it to my workout?

I'm not sure if it's a bug or new feature, but I never remembered such a interface previously. I've many retired shoes, and them showing up on the list is only distracting. Why would I add a retired shoe to the workout, I've retired it for a reason.

Is there a way to not show the retired shoes?

I do not see the retired gear in the list of available items, unless I look at an activity older than the date of the retirement of the gear. So it seems to work correctly, logically, and exactly as one would expect.

If you see some retired gear at some activities, verify the date of the gear retirement, and the date of the activity.
