Garmin Connect Web activity view

Suggest to add "sticky" check box (similar as Laps) to be able conveniently track various parameters corresponding to point in the map. For instance track where my vertical oscillation deviation increases and so on.

I do that manually by manipulation source code since it is not available in any way to do this. It would be nice to have this as feature.11.m4v

  • Just curious, since I do not understand what you mean by the "sticky check box (similar as Laps) ". I see no laps checkboxes anywhere on the activity screen. And I see no checkboxes in your video either. I just see that you select a section of the activity to zoom it out, but that's a standard function available without any source code manipulation. I suppose I have overseen something, but am unable to find out what. I either need some more coffee, or some guidance what to look for, in the video.

Activity tracking view contains Maps and Chart boxes. When scrolling, it scrolls as one piece. Usually Maps are scrolled away as there are a lot of charts.

I suggest that Maps could stick to the top of the window while letting Charts scroll down underneath Maps (maps is sticky). That way I could track specific Chart parameter directly seeing on the Maps (answering the question: where on the map it was recorded)

To achieve that, I suggest to add similar box as Laps checkbox with a name Sticky.

That way user could control whether he wants sticky Maps or not.

    Hope that helps

  • OK, I see now. I recommend using the following form for your suggestion, since it is unlikely anyone from Garmin would spot your post here on the user forum: https://www.garmin.com/forms/ideas/
