I would find it very motivating to see a more realistic evolution of my badge level if the badges would be retroactive for activities that I already recorded with my Garmin.
I would find it very motivating to see a more realistic evolution of my badge level if the badges would be retroactive for activities that I already recorded with my Garmin.
But that would not motivate you at all to be more active now. The purpose of the badges is to make you move more, not just giving you more points for activities in the far past.
You can actually be rewarded with badges for old activities that are registerad at Garmin Connect. Just do a slight edit of the activity and Garmin Connect will reevalute what badges you should be awarded with for that activity. So, it is up to you.
