[BUG] Clicking on "Available" badges goes into a blank page

How to reproduce -> Check video

Or just go to Badges and click available.

  • Same here, on Chrome.

It is not necessary that eveyone posts "same here" - we'd have a thread with a million of identical posts. It is the same for everyone, so just read the previous answer and follow the advice:

wait a few days. Or select any badge category except of Challenges, if you want to see the available ones. Challenge Badges are a new feature, so it may take a few days to iron out the bugs.
  • Trux, thanks for your civilized reprimand. As a beginner with a fenix and on this forum, I will not interfere anymore from now on. I hadn't realized that six responses equals millions.
  • OK, i've done some digging.
While on the 'Earned' tab if you select something (NOT STEPS) from dropdown in 'Filter By' you will then be able to switch to 'available'.
Once in the available section you are able to pick between them all but STEPS.
If you do select STEPS you will break the page and need to restart.
Looks like a coding error on one or more of the STEPS badges.

  • As written earlier, the problem was on the category Challenges, but currently it is already fixed everywhere. If you still experience problems, sign out, reload the login page, and sign in back - available Badges should work for all categories. If it does not help, clear the temporary files and try again.

Sorry, if you feel offended, but as a resident member trying to help others on this forum, I use to open all unread threads, and it is very frustrating having to open the same thread again and again within short time, just seeing people posting "mee to" at issues like this one, where it is evident that it concerns all the X millions of Garmin users, and where the solution was already posted in the thread anyway.

  • Followed your instruction. Also tried 3 other devices and 7 browsers in total that hadn’t been used with connect. Still same error.

it doesn’t appear to have been fixed everywhere, nor was log out/log in/reload/delete temp files a definitive solution for all.

Yes, it may be possible, I already noticed earleir, that the new versions propagate slower around the globe - Garmin clearly uses load-balancing with multiple local servers. However, it should be just matter of hours before it is fixed worldwide.

it doesn’t appear to have been fixed everywhere

When I wrote "everywhere" in my previous post, I meant in all Badge categories in my GC Web interface, not everywhere worldwide :)

still it is not fixed btw

  • Try clearing the temporary internet files, sign out and sign back in. If it does not help, you may need to wait longer till it is updated in your location too. Looks like for most people it already works all right. For me since two days.

If you want to know the exact reason, open Dev Tools (in Chrome F12 or Ctrl+Shift+i), select the tab Console, and watch for red errors in it, when on the Badges page, while the problem appears.
