How do I remove calories in/out feature and just go back to active calories?

How do I remove calories in/out feature and just go back to active calories?

  • Where? In Garmin Connect Web? If so, then on what page? Or in the phone app Garmin Connect Mobile? If so, then on what screen? Or on the watch? If so, then what model?

  • In the garmin connect app, I want to remove that feature from homepage and just have it go back to active calories, resting calories, total calories.
I have the garmin vivosmart 4

  • Well, you can swipe any pane in the GCM app to the side, to remove it, and enable any available widget after tapping the button Edit My Day at the bottom, but I am not aware of any other Calories widget. Active calories are shown on the widget Calories In/Out. Perhaps if you unlink the MFP account, the format of the widget may change, but that's just a speculation, I did not test it.

If you just want to access the Calories page, you can do it through the Health Stats button at the bottom. If you see none at the bottom of your GCM interface, go to Menu » Edit Tabs (at the very bottom), and enable it there.

  • I also want to do this, was this ever figured out? I tried the suggested but it just comes back as calories in/out. I have also disconnected MFP and tried deleting the app. Neither have worked.

  • Help I also want to do this. On mobile at the screen 'My day'. I want the Calories in/out widget to go away and have it as it was as 'Calories' with just resting, active and total calories.

  • Did you try disconnecting the MFP account from GC?

  • Yes disconnected at the MFP website and the GC website. Nothing changed. Just says 'Food ---' now on the widget (not registering my intake)

  • You could try restarting the app, clearing the cache of the app, or reinstalling it, though I do not know whether it helps. Adding of some features is irreversible. The only way to get rid of them is creating a new account. Anyway, you can always open the standard Calories screen through the menu, if nothing helps.

  • Reinstalling the app worked. Thanks

  • I deleted my account on MFP and unibstalled the app. The i reinstalled the connect app but it still shows calories in/out... Did you do anything else than this? KR
