Garmin connect is not using a run I manually moved over from polar bear for personal best or other historical metrics

I recently purchased a Garmin Fenix 6 Sapphire. Prior to this I used Garmin connect with an edge 1030 to track bike rides. However I used polar beat to track my runs since I had a polar hrm and couldn’t track runs in connect.

I downloaded my most recent run from polar beat, where I set several new PRs, and manually uploaded into connect through the website. The run shows up as an activity in connect. However, connect will not use the times on that run for my PRs. Also, it does not show up in my “last activity” or “history” widget in my Fenix 6 Sapphire either.

I’ve tried turning my phone and watch in and off but it didn’t fix it. I think the issue is in Connect since the run won’t show up as a PR. Any advice?

Personal Records are actually handled by the device, not by the Garmin Connect server or app. So if there is no record assigned directly in the file you imported (which is logical since it was not a Garmin device), then you need to assign it manually. One possibility is in Garmin Connect Web - using the option Set as PR in the cogwheel menu on the page of the concerned Activity. Another option is editing the PR directly on the page Personal Records.
