Garmin Connect health stats/weight

Since the recent revamp of the 'Health stats/weight' page, the black dotted line indicating target weight only displays for the year's data, not for 7 days or 4 weeks. Is this normal? If so, why?

  • You can get it on the full page view.

I do see it on all three graphs. Is your weight goal perhaps out of the range of the current weight of the 7 days and 4 weeks graphs?

Previously the range included also the weight goal, but it is possible Garmin narrowed it down to include only the min/max current weigths of given period, since the previous method triggered a lot of complaints from people having their weight goal far away, and thus seeing very flat curves only.

Thanks for replies. My weight doesn't fluctuate wildly; nothing I do re page view affects the dotted black line or lack thereof. I'm sure I can live with it.

  • Yes, the question was rather how far your Weight Goal is from your current weight. If it out of the range of the graph, then it won't be visible. In past it was always included on the graph, but it caused flat curves at people with a goal far from their current weight, hence Garmin introduced this change
