    hi,

care to tell the story behind the deleted file and the recovery program you used ?

    • so other users can learn from it ?

you managed to recover some part of your original fit file

your fit file could be structural repaired with Fit File Tools's section remover (without removing)

    • there is no additional data or summary data in your recovered fit file

your fit file after removal of system data, run though Fit File Tools's section remover (without removing)

    • there is no additional data or summary data in your recovered fit file

    check this file fitfiletools-part18.zip

Thank you for your quick reply, the full run was 1.20 and its was 18.43KM. At the end of the run I clicked discard instead of save.

I used recuva to recover the file. it came up with one fully recovered file and one partial recovered file.

Is the maximum that I can recover from this activity?

    Thanks

    thank you for the feedback

Is the maximum that I can recover from this activity?

I have no experience with recovery tools, that is why I asked how you managed this one

    • did you use different settings or methods on Recuva to scan your device
    • the file you posted here does not contain any additional data from your actitivty
    • you could try another scan, use other settings on Recuva, the sooner the better
it came up with one fully recovered file and one partial recovered file.
    • both from your discarded activity ? or one from another activity ?
    • the files you posted are exactly the same

Both are the same activity but it comes up as recovered twice.
