Distance wrong on my runs please help!

Why is distance not calculating correctly on my vivoactive compared to forerunner. Only seems to be having issues when running not on other activities . Running is my main sport . So frustrated, Ive tried changing to GPS galieo and still no better . Can anyone help ?

I've tried all 3 GPS settings and still wrong . Just back from another run with my husband and watch recording 2.98 miles compared to his 3.11 miles . Beyond a joke!

Could you share an activity demonstrating the distance discrepancy, and tell us what the expected distance is, compared to the reported one?

I've shared a 5k cycle and 5 k run both done today exact same route . My husband was with me on 5k run his Garmin 235 measured exactly 5k that's his picture attached to my run. I've always used this 5k route when I had my own 235 sadly sold it on in favour of vivoactive .

Also before I sold on my 235 I wore both watches on a 7 mile run. The 235 recorded 7 miles , vivo active recorded 6.89......I might be regretting selling my trusted 235

I've had the same problem. I am so frustrated with the VA3 model. Garmin even replaced my watch and it does the exact same thing. I ran a 15K today with a small group and I had to run an extra .6 miles to get 9.3. And may pace was slower than the people that walked. I am now looking to go back to a forerunner - just trying to figure out which model.

That's so frustrating exact same issue as me . I've worn 2 garmins even to prove I'm right and the vico active is still not right in comparison to forerunner! So disappointed as I really do love the watch but I run regularly, 4 times a week, and attend lots of races so really cant be using a watch that's incorrect. I may consider going back to a forerunner also in looking at the 645 music ....
