Under default setting Connect only shows the total steps walked per month. But since some months have more days than others the graph is misleading: for example if I walked 10k steps every day in January and February ,the graph would show a 10% drop between the January and February bar, even though my workout didn't really change.
More generally, graphing totals instead of averages is impractical because it forces the user to constantly make calculations to understand the trends. If my weekly total steps are 8k, that means 1.14k per day. Then I change to my monthly graph and I see I totaled 35k, so I need to first look at the days of that particular month and then dived by say 30 to find out whether that week was above or below the monthly average. If there was a way of seeing all graphs on steps per day directly that would be much more practical!
Same issue with other metrics such as floors climbed, km ran per month, etc. I looked everywhere for a way to graph daily averages but couldn't find any. Obviously I can download the file in excel and do it by hand, but too much hassle and Connect should be able to do this calculation automatically.
On a similar vein, I find the way Connect graphs running metrics like pace, or heartrate are also hard to read. By default Conect shows instant pace, but the resulting graph has too much noise and the trends are hard to read. Is there a way to get instead the averages per km or per 5 minutes interval, etc?
Thanks
