Chrome OS Chromebook (Pixel Slate) Login Log In to Garmin Connect Web

Afternoon

I have a strange issue where I cannot log in to Connect Web (to clarify I'm not trying to install or sync anything - just log into Connect Web to view stats) I'm logged into two different PCs so I KNOW my details are correct but on the Chrome Book I'm getting 'an unexpected error has occurred' on the sign-in page.

I've tried it in Incognito mode with all the extensions removed so its nothing there interfering (and it works on Chrome with the same details and extensions on the PC), I've even tried an emulator of Firefox using an Android app and that worked, its just the base Chrome browser on Chromebook that gives the error. I've flushed the cookies and everything as well.

Anyone any ideas?

Don't you use, by hazard, on the Cromebook, some kind of proxy or an anonymizer? Or a firewall / antispam blocking some domains? Garmin Connect uses content provider services such as Akamai and CloudFlare, and they sometimes block accesses if they cannot determine that they come from a safe location.

No, I have a VPN but it's not connected and was disabled when I tried it in Incognito mode. It's strange as I'm replying to this message on my phone via Chrome and that's fine as well!

Did you try using an alternative browser? Not that it should not work with Chrome, but just to see if there is any difference in the error reporting. Also, please post a sceenshot of that error.

I can emulate Firefox and that works but that not a real option long term. I sometimes get a 'sso.garmin.com refused to connect ' error as well. Screenshots attached

Could you try it with the new Edge? It should be now available for Chromebook too, since it is based on the Chromium kernel.

Power washed the Pixel and its all working now
