Set on meters but calculates in yards

My garmin is set on meters but shows the distance in yards. Anyone knows how to set it correctly or is it a bug?

What device? What discipline? Swimming only, or other ones too? As far as I know yards are used at swimming only, while cycling, running, walking use miles. Well, that told, some old deviceses like the FR 45 sometimes need to be rebooted (shut off and turned on) after the unit change in the settings. Also please note, that there are unit settings in Garmin Caonnect Mobile and Garmin Connect Web too, and if not set identically, they may override the settings from the watch.

Thanks for your answer... My device is a vivomove.. I use it for running... It's quite weird since the first time i used it, it literally showed yhat I ran 7.88 km.. only ehen i used my samsung health app i realized that even though it's set on meters, it actually calculates in miles
