Garmin segments to not capture historical data

I have noticed that if I create a new segment Garmin connect only reports my results from the date it was created onwards it doesnt look backwards to check my previous efforts within historical rides.

Strava has optionality to request a refresh I think Garmin should also offer this.

People now have lots of history and if you create a new segment you dont only want it to be active then you would want to see against all of your efforts whenever they occurred.

Please add this function Garmin!

You can add individual old activites to new segments, by clicking the link Match New Segments in the tab Segments of each respective activity. I had the feeling there was a function for bulk adding too (when adding the segment), but can't find it now. Probably I was just dreaming.

Thanks for this YES I was able to manually match segments from historical rides it was not too bad as the number of rides was small. It would be annoying if I wanted to bring in more than 10 activities.
