Personal Records not setting correctly?

My records don't seem to be recognising correctly?

In this the first example here, it picked the 5k cumulative time as my PB, which is correct, it ignored the time after the 5k mark.

However, after setting a new PB, it gave me a time that included the time after the 5k mark.

So, it correctly gave me 30:52 in the first example, but it gave me 30:43 from the second example, instead of 30:15, which would be consistent with how it picked the last time.

I could trim the event and set the record manually, but I don't want to do that each time, I would like to just have it be automatic as it has been doing until today.

Did you set the new PB manually through the menu of the concerned activity, or was it what the page Personal Records suggested automatically, after the run?

It was suggested automatically. By setting a new PB, I meant I had set a new PB on my run.
