Sharing activity with specific group

Connect currently allows 4 types of sharing (Private, Connections, Connections and Groups, Everyone).

Will it be possible in the near future to share an activity with a specific group? For example I am connected to a handful of friends, but I want to share some activity with my family members only (one specific group), whereas I do not want other connections to see the activities.

Nobody will tell you here for sure, but if you want to hear my personal opinion then I believe it won't be available any soon (if ever at all). The workaround is keeping only close friends and/or family as Connections, and using Groups for all others. In this way you can share the more sensible activities with the close friends/family only, while letting the groups seeing just what you want.

Thanks, I share your skepticism indeed. Seems the only way although it prevents me to accept friends.

Accepting only true friends as friends is a good safety measure on any social platform. That's what the feature was designed for. If you need to share the data with larger groups of people you do not know well, just use the Groups.
