Steps Personal Record Won't Update....

I've had a Garmin Forerunner 25 for a while and before that a Forerunner 305 I used to help train for a half marathon.  Recently got a Garmin Vivoactive 3 (and love it) and started walking a lot more since we're pretty much quarantined.  The other day I went over 17,000 steps and have synced several times since then.  Today I was checking my Personal Records on Garmin Connect and as far as steps are concerned it still shows 15,317 as my personal record from back in May of 2017.

Is there a reason Garmin Connect wouldn't update this information?  Is there a way to get it to update this information?  I'm sure I could put it in manually but don't feel like I should have to check my stats to see if that's my most steps in a day or week or month.

Thanks for any help!

  • I have the same issue. None of my personal records will update.

  • It's not letting me change any setting on my devices, ether. (Yes, plural.)

Yeah, here too -- I broke my steps-streak record a few days ago and Garmin Connect shows my current streak to be 0 days (should be 26 days).

  • I just posted a question about this on their FB page. My record for step day, week, month totals haven't updated since 2016. I had a 53,000 step day and kinda would like that on my record so I have something to remember and 'break'!  I would totally override and manually enter this but it doesn't appear to be possible.  Super frustrating when trying to set goals and hope we get a response soon.

    Thanks.
