How to export a course from Edge 1030 to OpenRunner (GPX or XML)

Hi,

I use a Garmin Edge 1030. I can download in it courses that I created with Open Runner, https://www.openrunner.com/

But it seems that once in the GPS,I can no more export the courses. I download several tracks and recorded some too. But searchin for .GPX files in all subdirectories, the system doesn't find any. Most files ar .BIN and .FIT.

Do you know in what subdirectroy are saved the courses I recorded ?

Could it be possible that Garmin used a proprietary format and does not allow any export to external applications ? It is really a pity.

Thanks.

  • Yes, Garmin internally uses only files in FIT format. Courses are in the folder //GARMIN/Courses/ on most devices. You can export the course in GPX format though. Use the function "Download (GPX)" on the page of the repective course in Garmin Connect Web.
