NUVI 2340
Have arrived back in the UK with my GARMIN.
Hooked up to my PC to download Map updates, expecting the GARMIN to display a detailed UK road Map.
Was only given the option to update EU CENTRAL Map on my Garmin (no other options permitted).
So, now a poor resolution UK Road map is now not working on the GAMIN:
It displays a 'BLACK' screen with a 'home triangle', with 'no roads shown' and a 'voice' saying 'PROCEED TO THE CHOSEN ROUTE'
It also will not allow me to search for any locations in the UK and only lists 1 option HULL (North).
Cannot find any help at all on the website so my questions are:
1 - Is my GARMIN now useless for the UK
2 -Or do I have to buy a UK Map, and if so, how do I do that, given that the updated software only allows me a EU Central Map
3 - Or do I have to somehow configure the GAMIN for the UK.
(I have performed a factory reset, but that did not solve the problem)
