I have just finnished a step challenge and the winner has the zombie badge. Wasn´t I suppouse to get that badge too?
If it is not a group or a connection challenge, then no, it does not work with the weekly auto-chalenge.

You can also simply join the Zombie Hunters group, or practically any other bigger open group, and wait till the nearest closure of one of their challenges, to get infected by the Zombie virus.
