I have a Garmin Edge 800, when trying to import a workout manually from training peaks. I export the structured training from training peaks to a .fit file. Save it .

I then go to Garmin connect, I browse for the .fit file and select it ... it loads into the "import data" page.

I then select the "import data" button.

I then get the following error "An error occurred with your upload. Please try again."

Please help

The import page you are trying to use if for importing Activities or Body data (esp. the weigth), not for importing Workouts.

For linking TP to GC, have a look at https://www.trainingpeaks.com/partners/garmin/

That's not the place to import courses either. The description on the Import page clearly states what types of files it is designed for - Activities and Body data. Courses need to be imported on the Courses page (see the link at the bottom of the white box)

What about importing heart rate data? Where do I do that?
