Sync Runkeeper to Forerunner

Is there a way to upload my runkeeper activity to my Garmin Forerunner? It seems to sync Garmin to Runkeeper, but not Runkeeper to Garmin. If not, will this be possible in the near future?

You can export the activity from Runkeeper to a file, and then import it in Garmin Connect.

To be more verbose - for an automated sync you would need two basic prerequisities: Garmin would have to allow the import of 3rd party activities through their API, which apparently does not fit their business plan, and then Runkeeper would have to acquire the rights to use the API, which again may not fit the business plan of Runkeeper. Hence, I would tell that the probability of it to happen is rather dim.

The only way how to keep both data under the same hood automatically, that I can think of, would be using Strava. Garmin Connect activties sync to Strava automatically, and I believe the same can be achieved with the Runkeeper to Strava syncing. However, it would not send all the data to GC, you would just have them together on Strava.

Another possibility is writiing your own script that would automate the data export & import, or hiring a programmer to do it for you.
