Activity is synced to Garmin Connect, but does not show up on activities page or in API calls

I had a run today that appeared to sync correctly to Garmin Connect, but does not show up in my list of activities here: https://connect.garmin.com/modern/activities, not does it show up when I attempt to sync my activities on runnersconnect.net via the API.

I attempted to upload the activity manually, and received an error message that the activity was already uploaded. The link provided on the error page shows that the activity was in fact uploaded: https://connect.garmin.com/modern/activity/4620489236

What would cause the activity to be missing from my /modern/activities page? There's nothing unusual about today's data or my process as far as I can tell. Annoying because I can no longer sync automatically on runners connect.

Possibly a corrupted FIT file. You can try checking it for example with the FIT File Tools. You can also change the date of the file, and try to import it again - in this way GC should stop complaining the activity was already uploaded.
