Why is my watch with settings not visible on my page on the site?

I have a Suunto watch and when I go to my page on their website I can see my watch and I can change the settings of my watch. But I can't add shoes or golfclubs or bicycles. On my page on the Garmin Connect site you can add shoes, bicycles and golfclubs, but you can't see the watch you have and it's settings. Where's the logic in that? My suggestion to Garmin is to make it possible to see your watch and changes its settings on the site and then just synchronise everything.

As long as you have a Garmin device, it is indeed exactly this case and you can set many options of the device from the web. You can register all your Garmn devices, and they are accessible through the watch symbol in the upper right corner, just left to your avatar. However it does not work for watches of other manufacturers like Suunto, and I do not think it ever would.

What makes you think I want to put a non Garmin watch on the site. I was just comparing the Suunto-site with the Garmin-site. Maybe I wasn't complete with my comparision. On the Suunto-site I can make a sportmode and I can determine what I want to see on the different screens on my watch: chrono, speed, laptime, heartrate, distance, a personal app,.... On the Garmin-site this is not possible and it's just that what I would like to see on the Garmin-site. The only settings you can change on the Garmin-site are settings you set once or settings for an alarm.
