I recently noticed that I incorrectly entered a date for start of use for a bike

i just noticed that I incorrectly entered the date for "start of use" for a bike on connect. It won't allow me to enter that field short of deleting it all and re-entering it? If I did that would I lose the data for that bike?

  • Yes, if you delete the bike, then it will be as if it never existed. Once you add the bike back, you will have to reassign it to all relevant activities.

  • If you re-enter it with a date that is in the past and set it as default for that activity, you will get a question whether you want to add it to all your activities since that date

  • That's what I thought, I am going to try maybe, from the picture it appears only to only ask about the major sets, not subsets like indoor cycling, which is what I use it for primarily, rollers during the off season. Maybe I will either try adding a new one first or try to live with the date of 0205 rather than the 2005 that it should be. It only took me 14 years to notice my error (roll eyes)
