Convert Multisport to Running?

Started a run today and for some reason it started it as a multisport open water swim. I can't seem to figure out how to convert it to a run. Thanks for any help.

You can change the type on the activity screen of Garmin Connect Web - at the top left, just above the name of the activity.

if you want your fit file changed

with your consent we can have a go at your file with FitFileRepairTool

zip the fit file and upload here in the forum

or provide a link to it on a cloud storage

or send it via pm

I keep trying to send a pm with the .fit file, which it won't let me or convert it to a link and it won't let me do that either. Can you tell me how to zip the fit? Or some other suggestion for someone not totally techno savvy?

try renaming the fit file with a zip extension
