When I try to upload a .fit file from iPhone (iOS 13) to Garmin Connect Web in Safari, I can only select .gpx files. It seems the extensions are filtered within the web app. Works ok on a Windows PC.
Should be easy to fix within the web app.

Same here, just received a warranty replacement 820 - all .gpx .tcx .fit files greyed out on iPhone 14 pro running iOS 16.1
managed to upload it from iPad on iOS 15
Same Problem here with iPad 2021 and IOS 15.01 in Safari & Chrome: .fit & .gpx is greyed and not possible to Upload to GC
no Problem on a Google Pixel 4a with Android 11 in Chrome
Are you trying to import an activity or a course? What is the process you're using? I was able to upload an activity .fit file.
Same process. But in iOS and iPadOs the fit files are greyed out and can’t be selected.
Can you post a screenshot of where these fit files are greyed out?
it is grayed out and can’t be selected!
I could not replicate your issue. Perhaps because my iPad is on iOS 12.5.4. What exactly is "Recovery_.fit" with the wahoo element icon? Wondering if that has anything to do with the problem.
It’s a fit file. Wahoo just associated itself with fit files when opening them.
I‘m a software engineer and it seems garmin is trying to filter the file selection and this is going wrong. Red of similar behavior in various posts with at least version 13.x
I‘m on version 14.x
I'm not having the issue downloading fit files (originally recorded on my Garmin Forerunner) from iCloud and uploading to Garmin Connect Web on the safari browser.
Only thing I can offer, just to be sure, is that you zip and attach the Recovey_.fit file to your post so I can test to see if I have any problems importing into my connect account. Other than the iOS version, that is the only difference, as far as I can tell.
Thank you.
On my Mac I can just drag and drop the fit file to safari and garmin processes it just fine.
Don‘t have the Mac with me all the time, so it should work on iOS..
Just tried again and the issue is resolved, I can select a .fit file now (iOS 14.7.1)
