Hello,
I'm passing on my Forerunner 310XT as I no longer use it but I'm having trouble FULLY resetting it and clearing all data.
I've followed the instructions in the manual (Turn off device > press and hold POWER and MODE buttons > message for clearing using data appears and i select YES)

Upon doing this, the device restarts and takes me to the set up screen (so all looks normal) However, I noticed that some of my activities are still showing and 52% of the memory is still used up??
So, I deleted the activities manually, which successfully worked. But then when I test the device and record a new activity, several other activities appear again???
I've tried resetting the device x2 times now (using the same method) and I'm having the exact same issue.
NB
I do remember having an issue in that it wouldn't display recorded activities correctly on the device but it was OK once synced with Garmin express. (So it records everything correctly, but I can't view it back on the device.....)
Any help with this would be much appreciated.
