Progress Summary filter to surpress BS

Under reports, you can generate Progress Summaries. 
I have data back to an old Forerunner 120. It had crapped out sometimes in dense areas resulting in abnominal high paces. I want to surpress "best pace 0:10/km" from 2012/2013 in the overall statistics. What about some BS filters or the ability, to exclude those activities when necessary.

The same is for other sports like biking, hiking,...

  • I cannot offer you any BS filter, but personally I'd prefer having the data clean, and would edit the offending activities. When editing an activity, the Best Pace value is one of the fields that are editable. For fixing other problems (like for example forgetting to stop an activity at the end), you can use the Trim function under the cogwheel symbol (up right on the activity screen in GC Web). And for some tougher problems, where you for example need to remove or adjust some incorrectly recorded coordinates within the track, you can export the file in TCX format and edit it in text editor, then importing instead of the original. Or exporting it in the original (FIT) file format and editing with a FIT file editor.

    I know about the trim feature and the possibility to export and edit the files. This is a lot of work for a few 8 year old activities.
    Didnt know that "best pace" is editable, this can be a solution. Would be easier if you can just mask it out.

    I have just tried it, and do not see Best Pace on Cycling activities in the Progress Summaries, although in fact I do not know what would be wrong on it, even if it were there. I would have nothing against knowing what pace I have (for example for 5km or 10km). Pace in sport is not necessarily related to walking and running only. In the broader sense it means rhythm or tempo, or the rate of movement, or also the time needed for achieving a defined task (be it a certain distance or something else).
