GARMIN CONNECT - STRAVA syncing remains unsolved for over 7 years

For the past six or seven years, the Garmin / Strava sync issues remain unsolved. Strava has no solution, Garmin has no solution, meanwhile people are just frustrated and don't know where to turn to for help.

You email Strava and they tell you to ask Garmin.

  • My activities have synced almost flawlessly since day one. So can you elaborate on your specific issue? Which device? What type of activities?

    I have garmin data from three different Garmin devices and I work out everyday. I used to be able to sync seamlessly to Strava until mid Dec.

    After that it would not sync for three weeks. Then for the past few days it synced again but only downloaded two days of data. All the Garmin data from late dec to mid jan would not transfer to Strava.

    You are jumping to unbased conclusions. On support forums of any manufacurer you will always see issues with any existing feature. It in no way means that the feaure does not work. Among hundreds of thousands of users, there will be always someone with problems for whatever reason you can imagine.

    Did you verify, in your account settings whether the accounts are still connected? Did you check on Strava's side the permissions for Garmin too?
