How can I fix incorrect Training effect data, due to faulty puls data?

When running without cheststrap for measuring puls, I get the puls data from the wrist (fenix 5). The puls data is often too high, and that makes the Training Effect data too be incorrect (very faulty) and that messes up mytraining data. Is there any one else with the same problem. How do you handle it? It would be nice with a function similar to the Strava functon to override the data manualy. This was a easy run, or this was a hard run. Or even better an app that detects data that is probably incorrect (compared to other runs) and ask me if I whant to fix it... :-)

I'd like to find a solution to this too as my HR strap has recently been faulty and giving very low readings and it is skewing the training effect with my training load coming in much lower than it has actually been.   In Garmin connect post activity I have tried to manually input a Ave and Max HR and added PE score too. (based on experience of previous similar intensity/power output) but the training effect will not budge.  It is irritating!

As OP says Strava at least allows a manual override when the HR data is off but it seems this can't be done in Connect?
