Find friends - connect with Facebook friends

I keep receiving this message when trying to connect with Facebook through Garmin Connect to find friends.

‘Ok we won’t access your Facebook friends right now. You can always come back and try again’.

i have no idea why it won’t connect. Can someone please help?

Possibly some permissions or privacy settings either on the side of FB, on the side of GC, or even on the side of the OS. Try it with Garmin Connect Mobile instead - sometimes it gives different results than the web version.

I had the same issue and I solved it by hitting cancel when it asked to open the app and then logged into Facebook manually via a web page. Hope this helps.

This didn't work. I got logged in and I was stuck in the help center and tried to do it again and I just got that frustrating message. Garmin needs to say what privacy change in FB needs to be made!
