Lost badges on trimmed activities

Why do I lose my badge when trimming my activity? It's still an activity. Doesn't make sense, does it?

    Many badges are not awarded for manually inserted activities, so that may be the reason that it happens also for the trimming. Or because by trimming the badge you changed the activity in the way that you no more meet the badge condition, if it is the possibility in your case. Which badge is gone, exactly?

    Activity has been recorded by vivosmart hr+ which is shown in activity whether trimmed or not.

    The badge's name is "Strong Start" and you can get it for a new year activity.

    So specifically this badge is awarded even at edited activities, so I guess you have probably changed the date of the activity. Just edit it again and change the date to 01/01/2020, and the badge should reappear at the top of your badges.

    I tried that but that is not the case. Activity is still shown on Jan 1st. But badge is gone. Restored activity shows badge.

    I changed the date to Jan 2nd and back to 1st which helped.

    I'm quite sure, that's a bug. However, activity is trimmed and badge still there.
