Confused by Training Status report

I have a 935 and 530.

When I look at the Training Status for All Activities it has a separate report from each device, with different numbers.

I see that in the Exercise table it only shows my rides recorded on the 530 and no runs or swims from my 935. I think the issue is that the 935 doesn't calculate Exercise Load?

But if that is the case how/why does the 935 report calculate a 7 Day Training Load and come up with a slightly different number, 687 from the 935 and 749 from the 530 for example?

Is the algorithm for calculating Status and 7-Day Training Load using Exercise Load as part of their calculation and when it is 0 for the 935 it's affecting the result?

If this is the case then the whole Training Status report is worthless and you can't make any judgments on altering your training based on the data.

I appreciate that the 935 has been replaced by the 945 recently, but I would have thought that data collected by the 935 was sufficient to calculate training load, most other apps like Training Peaks, Strava and SportTracks merge the data to provide a guide to fitness, fatigue and the resultant form/status.
