Hi all
I accidentally selected "Decline" for a new 10k record after running a 15k. Is there any way to extract that 10k record from the activity to my personal records now?

Delete the activity and re-upload it.
It is enough to use the option "Set as PR"
This won't work if the record is a part of a larger activity, like for example fastest 10k in a 15k run.
Delete it on the app? Or online?
Any way will do.
How do I then re-upload it from my device?

Well, you'll need to connect your watch to a computer and find the activity file. Then you'll need to import the file manually into Garmin Connect.
Wont it be deleted on there then as well?
No. Activities don't get deleted from the watch unless you delete them on the watch explicitly, or they get overwritten by later activities when the watch runs out of storage.
Delete the activity and upload it again:

TIF file
It is not a TIF file, it is a FIT file. In Garmin Connect activity menu it can be exported with the use of the option "Download Original".
However, you do not even need to export, delete, & import the activity. It is enough to use the option "Set as PR" in the menu (under the cogwheel symbol) on the Activity screen.

Well, it does work for me. I tested it again - removed an old record and then assinged it back in this way. When clicking "Set as PR", it lets me choose which record I want to set. The only inconvenience is that it takes the total time of the activity (15km) for the 10km record, but you can bypass it easily by editing the total time of the activity to the 10km time, assigning as PR, and then setting back the original 15k time to the activity. The time of the record will remain right in this way. As I told, I just tested it, to be sure, and it still works.
