Different location, same start point

Would be nice if there was a little consistency.

Must be some wrong data on a map (but hard to guess from where they take it, as in google and OSM this looks ok) or maybe they calculate nearest city wrong. Both activities should have Napier location.

Anyway this auto city naming feature in current form is quite useless. It can be used only for someone who travels a lot and starts activities in different cities.

Most users, who start activities from home, will always see home city (unless there is a bug, of course), even if they visit other cities during longer activity, it still will show only home city where they started.

It could be much better feature, at least it could show a list of all larger cities visited during activity.

Currently I always see my city, so I almost always rename it, to enter where I went (other city or district in my city).

Just basing the name on the nearest main city is totally useless for my daily training. Until a year or so ago, Garmin would use the name of the actual village I was in.
