Cant upload an activity from Fenix 5s after buying the Swim HR monitor

I have been using the Fenix for 2 years. Last Saturday I tried a new swim HRM and now Garmin Connect cant read the activity. When I found it manually and tried to upload it I got this message: "we don't support the file type you tried to import". Any solutions? Other than throwing the new HRM away :-/

    hi,

    sorry to hear about your mishap

    most likely the sync between your watch and hr-swim was interrupted and corrupted the hr part in your fit file

    with your consent we can have a look at your file with FitFileRepairTool

    zip the fit file and upload here in the forum, or provide a link to it on a cloud storage

    give the watch a little bit more time to finish the sync with the hr-swim

    or sync the hr-swim data manual afterwards via the menu in the activity overview
