When I save an activity as a course, Connect dramatically changes the elevation gain.

-When I review an activity in Connect, all the data is correct. (see image below showing 3238 ft of gain)

-When save an "activity" as a "course" via Connect, it dramatically changes the elevation gain/loss. (see image below of same activity showing 4405 feet of gain)

-My goal is for my saved course to have the same elevation data as my activity. Any ideas?

Isn't it elevation from a map and from a watch? You can check that on an activity on the right side (you choose source of elevation).

But on the course creator maybe you can't choose that, that make same sense, as you can edit your track, so it takes elevation from a map.

When saving as a course, it is not pulling it from a map because it wouldn't be that far off. The elevation change determined by the Fenix is correct within 10%, but for some reason it changes it to be WAY off.
