Help with corrupt FIT file

Can somebody help me repair a corrupt FIT file?

strange, was your file original or the result of a recovery scan

contained a lot of system data and recording to the fit file ended abruptly

removed all system data, updated file length, calculated…

Before going nuts, try this

recording to your file ended abruptly and ended without a file summary

put in file length, added file checksum and import/export with Fit File Tools's section remover

thanks for the help friend! yeah, my dumb self managed to click through like 5 selection options to accidentally discard my ride. should have an upload/dont upload option. and just save every workout. if memory starts to get full, must delete the oldest saved.

totally agree with you on this point

save first discard later ... Garmin's file choice at the end creates these situations in the first place

I just submitted it as an idea here to drop the 'save' from the menu and instead 'always save' with the option to 'discard'

they can even keep the menu structure with 'save' element but save anyway regardless selecting 'save'

I'm going nuts, http://garmin.kiesewetter.nl/ says file being used by another process - whatever that means??
